Making Your Taipei 101 Starbucks Reservation

To get your Taipei 101 Starbucks reservation, you’ll need to call +886 02 8101 0701. The country code for Taiwan is +886, so if you’re calling within Taiwan it won’t be necessary to include it.

Making the Starbucks Taipei 101 reservation is easy. Just call the number and they’ll greet you in Chinese. Don’t panic, just start speaking English and they’ll seamlessly switch over to English or get you someone that can help you.

Running Late? Changing Your Starbucks Taipei 101 Reservation

On my first visit to that Starbucks at Taipei 101, I had a 10:30am reservation and I was going to be 20 minutes late. I know that they are very strict at this location because it’s in the business building of Taipei 101 so I wanted to make sure I could still hold my reservation.

Things To Know Before You Get To The Taipei 101 Starbucks 35th Floor

The Starbucks is located in Taipei 101 where all the business happens. With that in mind, they have some very strict rules that you’ll need to follow otherwise you run the risk of not being allowed in to the Starbucks at Taipei 101 or being kicked out early:

After you have your Taipei 101 Starbucks booking locked in, it’s time to figure out how get to Taipei 101!

Getting in to the Taipei 101 Starbucks Secret Location

There’s many ways to get to Taipei 101 by taxi, Uber, bus and subway. The Taipei subway system is the most convenient because you can avoid the Taipei traffic.

With that in mind, you can take the red line on the Taipei MRT subway system to Taipei 101 station. That drops you off right under Taipei 101 and then you’ll have to exit to the street level to access the Taipei 101 business lobby.

You can also take the blue line to Taipei City Hall Station to Taipei 101. That’s actually the more scenic route since you can walk down the street full of high-end malls.

Finding The Taipei 101 Business Lobby

Once your outside of Taipei 101, look for the very plain entrance. There will be a guard outside and very few tourists. If you take a look inside, you won’t see any stores. That’s the Taipei 101 business lobby and if you’re unsure, there should be an information desk with people to help.

Once you make it in the lobby, look for the Starbucks 101 35F sign. It should be pretty close to the information Kiosk. After you find it, you’ll just have to wait there until a Starbucks coffee employee comes to get you.

You will not be able to access the elevators without the Starbucks employee to confirm you with security.

…And if you’re still having trouble finding it, I have a full walk-through in my YouTube video.

Checking-In For Your Starbucks Taipei 101 Reservation

Once it’s about time for your Taipei 101 Starbucks reservation, you’ll see a Starbucks employee start walking up to you with a clipboard. Have the reservation number that was provided to you over the phone ready.

The Starbucks coffee employee will ask you for your reservation number and then provide you with a ticket. You will only need the ticket to get through the security gates and access the elevators.

After the Starbucks employee checks-in everyone, they will then take you through the security gates and up to the 35th floor.

When your 90-minute Starbucks Taipei 101 reservation ends, you will be asked to leave the Starbucks coffee shop. No one escorts you from the Taipei 101 Starbucks 35th floor back down to the first floor. There is a small sign saying not to wander around, but you can ignore that.

So after my reservation ended, I decided to go find the restroom of the Taipei 101 Starbucks 35th floor. Next to the bathroom, you’ll find a guard station and an ATM. I wandered around the floor for about 10-minutes and the guard didn’t say anything.

The views from the other sides of the 35th floors are pretty amazing. You can see everything from the huge windows and it’s the best version of a Taipei 101 ticket discount that you can find.
