Taipei Cheap Eats: Best Places to Eat in Taipei For NT$100

The Taipei cheap eats list! This is the list of local Taiwanese restaurants in Taipei where you can get good food in Taipei for NT$100 or less.

Since this is a list of cheap restaurants to eat in Taipei, we will be excluding street food. To qualify for the list, the place must have seats.

金峰魯肉飯 (Jin Feng Braised Pork Rice)

A small braised pork bowl (lu rou fan) will set you back NT$30 and a large bowl will be NT$50. Pick the large if you want to leave full and stay on a budget!

This place is incredibly popular and open from 08:00 – 01:00. So you can have the best lu rou fan in Taipei at any time of day!

慶三號烤肉倉庫早午餐 (Qing San Hao)

You can get an amazing sandwich or donburi bowl here! Prices average around NT$70 for most items and you won’t find another meal like this food place in Taipei.

慶三號烤肉倉庫早午餐 (Qing San Hao) is only open from 06:00 – 13:30 so you can only come here for breakfast or lunch. Don’t miss out on one of Taipei’s best breakfast spot!

台生飲食亭 (Taisheng Food Pavillion)

For NT$100, you could get a fried pork chop (NT$60) and a bowl a braised pork rice (NT$40). The braised pork rice is pretty good but the real star is the fried pork chop! It’s crispy, juicy and the spices on it will have you craving more. Each bite as satisfying as the last.

Not only is the food good, the vibe at 台生飲食亭 (Taisheng Food Pavillion) is really cool. It’s a very clean restaurant with an old-school Taiwan feel. Definitely come to 台生飲食亭 (Taisheng Food Pavillion) for the good food and unique environment.
